Usage
PIROXILEX is indicated for acute or long-term use in the relief of signs and symptoms of musculo-skeletal disorders and joint disorders like ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and juvenile rheumatoid arthritis.
Dosage
It is recommended that therapy be initiated and maintained at a single daily dose of 20 mg. In acute musculoskeletal conditions, an initial dosage of 40 mg daily may be given for 2 days followed by 20 mg daily for 2 weeks. In acute gout, 40 mg may be given for 5 to 7 days
