Polymyxin B Sulphate USP 5000 units/gm
Neomycin Sulphate USP 3400 units/gm
Bacitracin Zinc USP 400 units/gm
Usage
LEXSPORIN Powder is an effective first aid antibiotic useful for preventing infection in minor cuts, scrapes and burns. It can also be used to treat furuncles, carbuncles, impetigo, acne, umbilical cord infections and inflammation of the beard area in men.
Dosage
The ointment should be applied to the affected area up to three times a day. If necessary, the area may be covered with a sterile bandage. Use should be continued until the skin is fully healed. Lexsporin Powder should be dusted onto affected areas 2-3 times until infection clears.
