- Benzalkonium chloride (preservative), sodium chloride, and purified water
Usage
Indication:
- Treatment of bacterial eye infections such as conjunctivitis and keratitis
- Reduction of inflammation and associated symptoms, including redness, swelling, and pain
Mechanism of Action:
- Ciprofloxacin eliminates bacterial infections by inhibiting DNA replication in bacteria.
- Dexamethasone reduces inflammation by suppressing immune responses and cytokine release.
Dosage
Typical Dosage:
- Instill 1-2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 4-6 hours, or as directed by your healthcare provider. In severe cases, the dosage may be increased to every 2 hours for the first 48 hours.
